Call for Papers

Authors of accepted abstracts must submit their full papers in order to be considered for a post-conference publication in the Journal of Flood Management and / or risk as one of the IAHS Red Book Series. All full papers will be evaluated by reviewers and will be posted only if they meet all the demands made by reviewers.

Please follow the instructions below to submit the full paper:

  • Step 1) Please access the system at www.acquacon.com.br/intranet ;
  • Step 2) Log into the system typing your login (e-mail address you’ve registered) and password;
  • Step 3) At Participation on the TOP menu click on “Abstract/Paper”;
  • Step 4) The information about your abstract will appear. At the end of the page, click on the EDIT option.
  • Step 5) At the next screen you will be able you to upload your full paper. On your discretion, you will also be allowed to edit the authors name and details. To do that, please, click on the search button, at the end of this page, to send the new file.

On-line Abstracts submission is closed!

We are pleased to inform you that by the end of the deadline for abstract submission, we received about 350 abstracts from 45 nations covering all seven topic areas of the ICFM6.

All submitted abstracts are being evaluated by the Technical Committee and an acceptance letter and instructions to submit full paper will be sent to the authors.

The notification of abstract acceptance will be on March 24th, 2014. Authors with the abstracts approved will be notified to submit the complete paper until April 11th, 2014.

Selected papers accepted will be considered for the publication on special issue on the Journal of Flood Risk Management. Selected papers will go through the Journal's peer review process.
